What is GCDP?

Global Community Development Program (GCDP) allows students in Italy to work from 6 to 8 weeks in projects abroad. AIESEC Trento will support you in the search and obtainment of your internship.  The main objectives of the internships are personal growth, a better understanding of cross-cultural and global issues, and the aquisition of soft skills, that afterwards will help you in the labour market.

The program has three different themes: Enterpreneurship, Education and Awareness

What is provided?

 

During your internship:

• Accomodation is either provided free of charge or co-ordinated for you

• In-Country Orientation

• Introduction Information Package

• Local support in host country and in your project abroad

Before and after your internship:

• A buddy (a local student and AIESEC Trento member) will help support you through the process, and stay in communication with you while you undertake your exchange.

• Visa and invitation letter support

• Pre-departure cultural support including preparation workshops on campus to help you deal with culture shock, tips and tricks on being away from Trento, and a chance to meet past participants.

• National Conferences and events

What countries and regions can I travel to?

 

​Our interns can CHOOSE WHICHEVER countries (where AIESEC exists ) they want to go under, WHICHEVER projects that they are interested in. It is not only about contributing back to the society but also the opportunity to see the world from the eyes of a local, experience a journey of immense soul searching and discover a greater potential within you!
